A lot of people including I myself have once faced this problem of buying a memory card only to insert it on your phone and send some files which isn't up to 3GB and your phone starts showing insufficient space(Ahhh), its really painful and the worst part of it is that you can't return it after one week of using it. Procedure On How To Check If Your SD Card Is Fake Or Not Using SD Insight
Step 1. Download SD insight on Google play store.
Step 2 Launch the app
Step 3 Accept the 'I agree to let SD insight work on my SD card
Step 4 Check if the SD model No. in the app corresponds with that on the package (if it corresponds it means it is original but if it does not corressponds it means it is fake)
So before you go to the market to buy any SD card make sure SD insight app is installed on your phone so you wouldn't waste money on a fake SD card.
