Welcome my lovely reader, I am here again with another interesting article for those people who are planning to enter into the blogging industry.
Before I start talking about the the main purpose of this article I will like to chip in something for those people who don't really know what is a blog.

WHAT IS A BLOG?
The word 'blog' is gotten from weblog.
A blog is that which is created by someone to allow users to reflect, share opinions, and discuss various topics in the form of an online journal while readers may comment on posts. Most blogs are written in a slightly informal tone (personal journals, news, businesses,tech etc.).
Now let's go to the main purpose of this article.

Things You Need To Put In Mind Before Setting Up A Blog;
1. A Blog Is Not Where You Make Money From Very Fast;
Alot of people including upcoming bloggers think that after creating and posting on their blog for a certain period of time that they would start making money which is a big lie, blogging is all about patience and before you can make it you have to spend years before readers can trust you and start reading your posts often.
2. Have Passion For What You Are Blogging About;
Most upcoming bloggers really do not have passion for what they are blogging about that's why they end up failing, they just pick up a niche which they don't have passion for because they heard that a senior blogger made it in that niche they decided to do the same which may not work for them.
So, make sure whatever you are blogging about is what you are good at or is what you like doing.
3. Be Consistent And Be Ready To Spend;
In the blogging industry you have to be consistent in other to allow your posts rank well on search engines and other media.
Also be ready to spend your money on your blog in other to have good designs and also to be able to update your blog frequently, as people normally say 'You have to use your money to get money' which is absolutely true if you wish to succeed.
4. Avoid Plagiarism;
This is one thing most bloggers do and according to Oxford dictionary (it is the act of copying another person's ideas, text, or other creative work, and presenting it as one's own, especially without permission.).
Doing this can make readers lose their trust for your blog and you know what that means (low readership) and doing this can also cause big trouble for your blog.
If you are an upcoming blogger or existing blogger avoid this, it is better to research on your before you write even though it is time wasting.
Hope this was useful
